The Border Collie Boys of Solaras

GCH Solaras-Callista Cavalcade's Companion

After 3 months of showing as a Special, Cave finished 2012 in the AKC Top 20 breed ranking and as the Number 1 Border Collie in the AKC Owner Handler Series. Cave is a Group Placing border collie with multiple Group Firsts in the Owner Handler Series.

We look forward to bringing him back out now that he has matured!

CH Solaras Lucky Debonair

Angus finished his championship at the 2010 BCSA Regional Specialty with Best of Winners, defeating 86 lovely class dogs and bitches to win that honor.  Thank you Judge Art Sorkin!

On his way to his championship, Angus earned multiple Best of Breeds from the classes. Currently, he is pointed towards his Grand Championship.

CH Hamilton's Sonic Boom of Solaras

Boomer is out of our foundation bitch, Kiri aka CH Hamilton's Unsinkable Molly PT and

CH Nahrof The Cohort, HSAs.

He has a lovely, gentle disposition which makes him the ideal alpha male at our house.

Boomer is a Group Placing border collie and pointed with Majors and Champions Defeated towards his Grand Championship. His Grand Championship was put on hold while we campaigned Cave.

CH Callista Blue Smitten, PT

Smitty was our first border collie and first show dog.  He is the father of our foundation bitch, Luna, CH Solaras Eclipse de Luna, and is behind many of the dogs here at Solaras.

Smitty is the winner of multiple Herding Group Firsts, Group Placements and Specialty Awards of Merit. He very much enjoyed showing in conformation as well as training in agilty and herding.

Eventually we had to choose one venue to focus on, and we selected conformation. Smitty's success in the show ring exceeded our expectations! Thank you to Gay Silva and Claire Hamilton for sharing this exceptional boy with us.
