The Solaras Border Collie Girls

Juno Championship.jpg

CH Solaras-Callista Stalk Broker, HSAs - "Juno"

Juno is our delightful herdy girl out of Reagan and Banker (GCH Sporting Fields Ruffian at Heronwood).  Juno earned her Herding Started title on Sheep A course at the New Year herding trial at Woodsend Farm at the start of  2019. and was Best Herding Titled at the National Specialty in 2019.

She finished her championship in January, 2020. We look forward to competing on the B course as well as on the A course in Intermediate.

Her litter mates are CH Solaras-Callista Breaking Waves and CH Solaras-Callista Pippi Long Stalkings PT.

CH Callista-Solaras Even Flow - "Flow"

Flow is out of CH Solaras-Callista Breaking Waves (Zuma) and GCH Sporting Fields Lightnin Bug.

Flow earned her championship in Perry GA with The Matteson's expertly guiding her to her championship.  Flow loves watching and playing with all puppies.  She is very tolerant of their treating her like their own mother or best playmate!

Pippa Champion Final.jpg

CH Solaras-Callista Pippi Long Stalkings, PT - "Pippa"

Pippa is a very happy, enthusiastic girl.  She earned her PT in 2018, however she is just too playful to take her herding career any further.

Pippa is littermate to her more serious sister, Juno, and brother Zuma. Pippa won the 6-9 months puppy class at the 2015 National Specialty, and finished her conformation championship in 2019.

GCH Solaras-Callista Silk Stalkings - "Reagan"

Reagan was the first born of Luna's first litter, and we couldn't be anymore delighted with her. She is a joyful border collie; everybody loves Reagan, and Reagan loves everybody!

Reagan finished her championship at the 2010 BCSA Regional Specialty with a Judge's Award of Merit.  Thank you Judge Art Sorkin!  Since then she has had many more great achievements in the show ring. To see more about Reagan, Click Here.

CH Solaras-Callista Dark Mirage - "Lena"

Lena is Reagan's liter mate from Luna's first litter.  She is a very gentle loving girl that likes to talk a lot.  Once Regan's championship was out of the way, Lena finished very quickly.  We look forward to taking her herding and seeing what she can do. To learn more about Lena Click Here.

CH Solaras Eclipse De Luna - "Luna"

Luna has been a wonderful show dog and a great producer and mother. She takes her litters very seriously, and hardly leaves them for the first 3 weeks. Truly being a mother is her favorite job, and she "mothers" her puppies that stay here until she has her next litter.  That means some have their ears and tummies cleaned everyday for 2 years.  Lucky puppies! Solaras Dixie Pixie - "Pixie"

Pixie is out of our favorite girl, Kiri and is litter mate to Angus and half sister to Boomer.  Pixie is very much like her mother in her desire to please and loving temperament.

Pixie is pictured here at 6 months winning a 3 point major. To learn more about Pixie Click Here.

Solaras-Callista Total Eclipse - "Nike"

Nike is the latest addition to Solaras.  She is out of Luna and BIS GCH Borderton Lou Easy An I A.  We look forward to getting her out in the ring this summer.  Her brother, Scottie, is already working on his grand championship points on his first birthday, so we better get busy!  To learn more about Nike Click Here.

CH Hamilton's Unsinkable Molly, PT GCG - "Kiri"

Kiri was our first border collie girl and is one of our foundation bitches. She is mother to Boomer, Angus and Pixie.

Kiri had a natural talent with her stock, being firm and fair with them, and not afraid to give a little grip if necessary. Kiri is no longer with us, but we are lucky to have several of her kids here to carry on her great spirit and intense desire to please.
